Win back inactive customers (90 days) — Shopify Flow template

What it does

When a customer enters your "no orders in the last 90 days" segment, they get an email with a Checkout Link and a returning-customer offer.

Why this play works

Most win-back campaigns rely on discount codes — codes leak, most expire unused, and the customer still has to build a cart. A Checkout Link drops the customer straight into a pre-loaded checkout, or into a pre-checkout page with curated picks and social proof. A returning-customer discount ("come back, get 15% off") applies automatically on either destination — no code to share or abuse.

What you'll need

  • A Shopify segment for customers with no orders in 90+ days (Tip: ask Sidekick to create it for you)

  • A Checkout Link with the comeback bundle or picks

  • Klaviyo connected in Checkout Links

How it works

  1. Trigger: Customer entered segment (inactive 90+ days)

  2. Action: Send Checkout Link

Tips

Attach a tiered promotion to the link so the discount scales with what they actually spend coming back. Test sending to a pre-checkout page vs straight to checkout — pre-checkout usually wins on AOV for win-back.
