Product Grid

Add a shoppable product collection to your landing pages with customizable display options and product-specific discounts.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Product Grid card allows you to display a shoppable collection of products on your landing page, giving customers the flexibility to browse and select items.

The Product Grid card is only available on landing page links, not checkout links.

Adding Products to the Grid

  1. Browse the list of available products or use the search function to find specific items

  2. Select the variants you want to include in the product grid

  3. To remove a variant, click the X next to it

If you can't find your product, make sure it's available to both the Checkout Links sales channel. For more information, please refer to the product availability documentation.

Line Item Settings

For more detailed control over individual products in the grid, click the Edit button next to any line item to open the line item modal.

  1. Select 'Percentage' from the dropdown

  2. Enter the discount percentage you want to apply

Note: If you have grouped variants, the discount will apply to this specific variant. The discount applies to each quantity of the item.

Product Grid Settings

Configure how your product grid functions and appears to customers.

Group Variants

When enabled, all selected variants of the same product will be grouped together in the grid. This allows customers to select their preferred variant (like size or color) when shopping.

Show Product Reviews

Enable this option to display product reviews in the grid, providing social proof to help customers make purchasing decisions. This works with all Shopify review apps that use default review metafields, including:

  • Junip

  • Judge.me

  • Stamped.io

  • Yotpo

  • Fera.ai

Dynamic Link Settings

When creating a Dynamic Link, you'll have access to additional product grid options that personalize the shopping experience based on customer data.

Show Previously Ordered Products

This option adds the top 3 most popular products that the customer has ordered in the past to the product grid, making it easy for customers to reorder their favorites.

Show Related Products Based on Last Order

Add recommended products based on the customer's last order – perfect for "Complete the look" or "You may also like" suggestions.

You can pick to either show recommendations based on

To add related and complementary products, you can use the free Shopify Search & Discovery app.

Recommendation Intents

Recommendation intents are designed to recommend products using a targeted strategy. Shopify provides the following types of recommendation intents:

  • Related products: Offer customers a mix of products that are similar to a product the customer is interacting with. An example is substitutable products that display in a You might also like section.

  • Complementary products: Offer customers products that are complementary to a product the customer is interacting with. An example is add-on products that display in a Pair it with section.

Only related recommendations are auto-generated by Shopify. Complementary recommendations need to be manually set up. Recommended products for each intent can be configured using the Shopify Search & Discovery app.

Add a Collection

Instead of selecting specific products, you can add an entire collection to the product grid. This is particularly useful for dynamic collections – for example, you can create a link featuring your most-purchased products, and when the collection updates automatically, so will the link's product grid.

Differences Between Cart and Product Grid

While both cards deal with products, they serve different purposes:

  • Cart Card: Pre-fills the customer's cart with specific products

  • Product Grid Card: Displays products for customers to browse and select from
