Add free gifts to your Checkout Links with optional spending thresholds to increase conversions and average order value.

Adding a free gift with purchase is one of the most effective ways to turn visitors into customers. The free gift with purchase card makes it easy to offer complimentary products as an incentive to complete a purchase.

Setting Up a Free Gift

  1. Toggle on the Free gift with purchase card

  2. Browse the list of available products or use the search function to find the item you want to offer as a gift

  3. Select the variant you want to give away

  4. Configure any threshold requirements (optional)

Threshold options are only available when creating Landing Page links, not Checkout links.

Settings

When creating a landing page link, you have additional options for free gifts.

Thresholds

You can make your free gift conditional by setting a threshold that customers must meet to receive it.

Minimum Purchase Amount

Set a specific dollar amount that the customer needs to spend to qualify for the free gift. For example, "Spend $50 to get a free gift."

Minimum Cart Quantity

Set a minimum number of items that must be in the cart to qualify for the free gift. For example, "Buy 3 items to get a free gift."

Group Variants

Toggle on "Group variants" to group all variants of the same product together. This allows customers to choose which variant of the free gift they prefer.

For example, if you offer a free t-shirt, grouping the variants would let customers select their preferred size or color.

Progress bars

If you've set a threshold on your free gift then you can optionally show the customer their progress towards the gift. You can control this in the "Messaging" card.
