The Cart section controls what products and quantities are pre-loaded into the customer's cart when they click your link.
Adding Products
Click Search products or Browse to open Shopify's product picker. Select the products and specific variants (size, color, etc.) you want in the cart.
Each product appears as a line item that you can:
Edit — Change the variant, quantity, selling plan, line item discount, or attributes
Reorder — Drag to rearrange the order of items
Remove — Delete from the cart
The Edit Menu
Click Edit on any line item to access all its settings:
Variant — To switch variants, click Browse to bring up the product picker again
Quantity — Set the quantity for this line item
Selling plan — Select a selling plan if available (subscriptions, deposits, try now pay later, etc.)
Line item discount — Apply a discount to this specific line item (percentage or amount). The discount is applied per unit, so if the quantity is 3, the discount applies to each one
Attributes — Add custom key-value pairs that get attached to the line item on the order (e.g., engraving text, gift messages, handling instructions)
Reorder Items
When your link has Dynamic enabled, a Reorder items checkbox appears in the Cart section. If checked, the cart will be automatically populated with items from the customer's most recent order — in addition to any products you've manually added above.
This is great for reorder flows where you want to include the customer's last purchase plus any upsell or promotional products you've added to the link.
Important Notes
Products must be available through the Checkout Links sales channel. See Sales Channel Setup.
Bundles and unlisted products do not work with Checkout Links due to Shopify sales channel limitations.
