Low stock on wishlisted item (Swym) — Shopify Flow template

What it does

When inventory runs low on a customer's Swym-wishlisted variant, they get an email with a Checkout Link with urgency framing before the variant sells out.

Why this play works

Low stock is the strongest urgency signal you have — and a Checkout Link is the only way to act on it without friction. Send the customer straight to checkout to convert before stock runs out, or to a pre-checkout page that pairs the urgency cue with related products. Optionally attach a discount or tiered promotion that rewards adding more — works on either destination.

What you'll need

  • Swym Wishlist Plus installed with Shopify Flow connector enabled

  • A Checkout Link set as Dynamic so the wishlisted variant pre-fills from the trigger

  • Klaviyo connected in Checkout Links

How it works

  1. Trigger: Swym — wishlisted item low in stock

  2. Action: Use dynamic link (Checkout Links)

  3. Action: Send Checkout Link

Tips

Set the low-stock threshold in Swym to match your replenishment lead time — too low and the variant sells out before the email reaches the customer, too high and the urgency feels manufactured.
