Setting Up the Klaviyo Integration

Connect Checkout Links to Klaviyo to unlock powerful email automation workflows with personalized checkout links.

Connecting Klaviyo

  1. Open the Checkout Links app in your Shopify admin

  2. Go to Settings > Klaviyo

  3. Click Connect Klaviyo

  4. Sign in to your Klaviyo account and authorize the connection

  5. Once connected, you'll see your Klaviyo account status on the settings page

The connection uses OAuth, so your Klaviyo credentials are never stored by Checkout Links.

Verifying the Connection

After connecting, the settings page shows your connected Klaviyo account. You can send a sample event to verify the integration is working correctly.

Ready-made email blocks

When you connect Klaviyo, Checkout Links automatically adds three ready-made content blocks to your Klaviyo content library:

  • Checkout Links — Abandoned Cart CTA

  • Checkout Links — Reorder CTA

  • Checkout Links — Reorder Banner

Each block already has your store’s personalized checkout link built in, so you can drag it straight into any campaign or flow — no copy-pasting links. Search Checkout in Klaviyo’s content library to find them.

If you delete or break a block, go to Settings > Klaviyo in Checkout Links and click Reset email setup to reinstall all three.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Klaviyo at any time from the same settings page. Click Disconnect and confirm. This won't affect any existing Klaviyo flows, but Checkout Links actions within those flows will stop working.
