Consent block

Updated yesterday

The Consent block adds a checkbox that customers must check before they can proceed to checkout. It automatically positions itself just above the Checkout button.

The Consent block is optional. Add it when you need customers to agree to something before checking out.

Settings

  • Consent label — The text next to the checkbox. Defaults to "I agree to the terms".

  • Consent body — The full terms text, written with a rich text editor. This is displayed in a slide-up panel when customers tap on the consent label. Use this for your full terms and conditions, content usage rights, or any other legal text.

Common Use Cases

  • Influencer gifting — Require influencers to agree to content usage rights before claiming their gift

  • Terms and conditions — Ensure customers accept your terms before purchase

  • Age verification — Add an age acknowledgment checkbox for restricted products

Tips

  • Keep the consent label short — customers see it next to the checkbox. Put the details in the consent body.

  • The checkout button is disabled until the customer checks the box, so they can't skip it.
