The Link section is at the top of the editor and contains your link's core identity.
Name
Give your link a descriptive name for your own reference β customers won't see it. Good examples: "Summer Sale 20% Off", "VIP Free Shipping", "Reorder Coffee Beans".
Shortcode
Every link is assigned a unique shortcode automatically (e.g., FCcJ83). This is used internally to identify the link and can't be changed.
Link URL
Your link URL is displayed here and can be copied with one click. By default, the URL uses the auto-generated shortcode:
https://yourstore.com/FCcJ83
Click the edit icon to set a custom slug β a human-readable path that's easier to share and remember:
https://yourstore.com/summer-sale
Custom slugs redirect to yourstore.com/a/link/SHORTCODE behind the scenes. Choose something short and memorable, especially for print materials, SMS, or anywhere you'll share it verbally.
Tips for slugs
Keep them short and lowercase
Use hyphens instead of spaces (e.g.,
summer-sale)Each slug must be unique across your store
If you change a slug after sharing the link, the old URL will stop working
Link Status
Toggle your link between Active and Draft. Draft links won't work for customers β use this to prepare links before a campaign launch.
